Metamorphosis is a comic based on David Eagleman’s story of the same name. In 2009, Radiolab broadcasted an adaptation of Eagleman’s story, narrated by Jeffrey Tambor. I was so taken by the vividness of Radiolab’s version that I had to re-adapt the story into comics.
In 2011 I was fortunate enough to run into David Eagleman at the Decatur Book Festival, and managed to give him a printed copy.
I have a 12 page comic in an anthology called The Sleep of Reason that’s raising funds through Kickstarter right now. This book is a massive collection of brand new horror comics in the vein of Black Hole or Uzumaki, all done by some of the most interesting and talented cartoonists out there right now. I’m in good company. There are also some really awesome stretch goals and backer rewards that become available as we raise more funds, so check it out!
